SACRAMENTO COUNTY – A woman and her dog were missing after a series of mudflows slammed parts of southern San Bernardino County.

San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies responded at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday to reports of a large mudslide near the intersection of Highway 138 west of Turlock that destroyed a home and sent a tree crashing through the window of a car.

Deputies found the dog next to the home in the debris. The dog was unharmed but the woman was reported to be missing.

Anyone with information on the woman’s whereabouts is asked to call the San Bernardino County Sherrif’s Department at (909) 892-5252.
