Gwen Stefani shares ‘The Voice’ retirement gift she plans to give her husband Blake Shelton

Gwen Stefani and her husband, country singer Blake Shelton, live in Nashville, Tennessee.
Gwen shared details of her husband’s retirement contribution during a recent episode of her podcast Unbroken.
On the podcast, she said that she planned to give her husband retirement gift he is working on. “Blake is always working on something,” she said. “I’m always working on something, but I thought it’d be fun to start early on that part of his gift.”
The gift was also revealed during a “You’re Fired” segment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week.
She and Shelton will reportedly receive a $50,000 donation from his own company. Shelton confirmed the gift with ET on Tuesday and said that he would use the money to “give back” to his fans through his charitable organization, Project Homefront.
Shelton also made reference to his wife during his monologue, saying, “My wife knows that I’m gonna be singing this song for her in our own little way.”
He went on to say that it would be “tremendous” to hear her music, adding, “the voice is coming,” which is obviously a reference to Stefani’s voice, as she is one of the biggest singers of them all.
Shelton will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame alongside George Jones, Kris Kristofferson and Tammy Wynette, which will take place at the organization’s induction ceremonies March 2019.
He’s also expecting more shows and tours to happen. Stefani teased in a series of Instagram posts last August that the couple was planning to take a trip to Australia. In January, she wrote to fans, “I’m taking this year off and will be traveling the world with Blake.”
Shelton and Stefani were married in 2007. They are parents to a son named Finnegan, 6.
