After Target stabbing, 9-year-old boy will spend Thanksgiving in an L.A. hospital
A 9-year-old boy was stabbed this morning in a Target parking lot in the Hollywood Hills. His story was not one of violence, but of a Christmas miracle.
A man walked into Target at Hollywood and La Brea Boulevard at 6:15 a.m. today and stabbed a 9-year-old boy. After pulling the boy from his seat and pulling his knife, the would-be murderer ran away.
The boy was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he’s expected to undergo multiple surgeries. His father has been charged with murder.
The boy’s name is Jaden and the suspect’s name is Anthony Scott Wilson Jr. It’s unclear whether Wilson has an attorney.
After the knife-wielding man ran, one witness called 911 and the boy’s mother was able to tell officers her son is safe. The boy has a scar on his face.
